Public Record Pick of the Month: Supervised visitation is a made up family court industry thing that makes lots of money not just for those getting paid to do it at $150 per hour, but for the attorneys who use these sessions to generate reports they use to escalate conflict and drag cases out so they make more money.

When I first learned of this , I was in shock that parents had to pay $150 to see their own children, because of a court order. These requirements seemed to go on without end and appeared to be ground zero for the mental health and financial crisis in the courts.

In 2020 one approved supervised visation provider began to complain about a core group of attorneys. The complaints have emerged in public records and court documents, and have led to a pattern we can report on.

For the mom broken because she could not afford to pay to see her own son for more than 4 hours on his birthday, and the father crushed by the court ordered payments that required him to pay $300/ hour to see his own child as he spiraled into a mental health crisis for which DA Rosen has proseucted him for, please know this:

There are a core group of lawyers, therpists and government workers who know this is going on and have opted to not speak up. There are private divorce lawyers who hunt down parents who dare to complain and there are judges who just refuse to hear the noise.

This email was sent to DA Jeff Rosen and the Santa Clara County court presiding judge two years before Maya and Sebastian were taken from their Santa Cruz home and placed into a reunificaiton camp.

We intend to follow the money and records to show how they got there and how Supervised Visitation must be revamped and shuttered along with minors counsel appointments and unregulated reunifciation camps. These businesses are profiting by destroying the financial future and mental health of children, creating a societal problem for the benefit of a few private attorneys given too much power and influence in our legal system . As the government attorneys look away and wait it out planning to kick back on that government pension.

Government pensions are supported by future workers. Breaking children with a pipeline from family court to prison and homelessness, isn't going to make those pensions sustainable.

Look to the district attorney in your community and ask: When was the last time they proseucted public corruption connected to family court and private divorce attorneys.
